Connecting a network that is led and driven by inclusive youth organizations and young adults with and without disabilities across Pennsylvania!
It’s funny how people often say they’ve felt lonely in a crowded room. It’s one of those powerful metaphors that almost everyone can relate to. The feeling of being disconnected even when you’re surrounded by others. But on the flip side of loneliness is independence. Not the “do everything alone” kind, but the real kind. Knowing who you are, what you need, and how to take care of yourself. Independence isn’t about being alone. It’s about being empowered! Lucky for you, you found PYLN where you get the chance to explore that. During May’s Monthly Youth Leaders Call, we’re diving into what it really means to be independent and why this skill is essential as you move through young adulthood!
