Funded through a grant from the PA Developmental Disabilities Council, and with the continued support of the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, and other supporting partners, the Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living together with the PYLN was able to collaborate to create a new vision and launch a new network structure in July of 2016.

The Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living (LVCIL) through a grant supported by the Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council (PADDC) has partnered with the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Pennsylvania Youth Leadership Network (PYLN) to make youth leadership opportunities easier to find, teach, and learn about for all youth across Pennsylvania. All youth deserve the chance to learn about and experience leadership.
The Institute on Disabilities at Temple University through a grant supported by the Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council (PADDC) has partnered with the PYLN to capture “authentic voices of youth with disabilities and their families” to find out what is happening with youth during their transition to life after high school.
